These filter cartridges are a waste of money. My water became cloudy within a week of use! One pro is that they are easy to install, but that doesn't outweigh the con of them not being effective at their job. Save your Pet Supplies budget and invest in a higher quality filter option.

These filters work great. I mean, after all, there is nothing wrong with the filter material. cotton is whole. The medium contains carbon and is placed in the sleeve for which it is intended. Love these pre-packed filters and have been using them for a number of years now. Much more convenient and less messy than doing everything yourself. I was glad Revain offered 48 of these but when they arrived there were only 2 boxes of 12 each for a total of 24 filters. Revain sent me a replacement but I see it also arrived with only 24 filters instead of 48. I think I now have 48 filters that I paid for so I'm fine, but I wish Revain would fix it by packaging them like this next time it's all
