Light but clumps well.

If you're worried that this filling won't stick together like clay filling, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Lumps probably aren't as hard, but they're still easy to pick up. Our cats have been using it since they were kittens and we've never had a problem. Cats don't usually like scented litter and the smell of this litter is NOT strong.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to say

Like this litter Good for cats

Like this litter. I'm allergic to the dust in clay fillers and this is the best natural alternative I've found. It's a little scented but my cats don't seem to mind and it makes cleaning their crates more enjoyable. This natural litter clumps. I have tried other brands that claim this but this one sticks together and actually dries up the urine and is easier to scoop. My cats now prefer this brand. I bought Tidy Cats Litter (which I used to use) about a month ago because I forgot to order and…

Use it as a topper, not alone.

I tried to fill the pot with this exact garbage and the stench was terrible. The ammonia in the urine seemed to increase and it looked like dirt when I tried to scrape it off. So why 5 stars? Have you ever cleaned the cat houses before company comes and as soon as people come the cat makes a mess that would startle the dog? Pour it over. GONE IMMEDIATELY. So whenever I clean the cat boxes; When I'm expecting guests, I put a cup of them on Tidy Cat. PERFECTION. It really kills odors from…

Pros
  • Durable workmanship
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

This smells the best of all the really healthy natural fillers out there right now. I chose this for the benefit of the Arm & Hammer and also for the clumping. You practically don't smell urine, even if you're standing next to a used box. If my cat ever covers up her human feces, I'm sure the same could apply to her. In its current form it is still excellent at eliminating this odor and is much easier to sift than with granular filling. It's a little dusty, but much less so than clay, and the…

Good substitute - cats

I used to buy other corn litter from Walmart. Since it was discontinued, I had to look for another filler. The closest thing I found was Arm and Hammer Naturals. It smells nice, and yes, while it doesn't stick together as much as regular clay fillers, I appreciate it because I flush it down the toilet and leave my house clean and smelling. My cats love it too. I often find them just playing in it. As I'm very picky about the cleanliness of the toilet, I don't mind if they play in it. BTW I have

but I think this filler is doing its best to keep up

I have already ordered it 3 times and it is the official filler that we use in the house. None of our cats are covering their poo so it's definitely a bit smelly but I think this litter is doing its best to keep up. Obviously, the best appeal of this litter is that it's made from corn. So if your cats don't mind the feel of the litter and will use it (one of our foster parents didn't), it's a little safer for cats. if they swallow it while grooming after use. Finally, one of our cats is…
