ARP 100 7716 Wheel Stud Subaru Review

Bought these for my 2013 SUBARU BRZ, fitted them to a 9 inch wheel with 10mm spacers, solid construction, used for 3 months and they look perfect. Will be using it at the open track next week and hope it holds up to the pressure.

Needed to fit spacers on new wheels. The OEM lugs on my 04 NSN Titn weren't long enough. They provided the required length and fit as if made for my application. Note the dimensions when used outside of the intended vehicle. I've ridden it about 100km so far. Today I tested her torque while making other mods. No questions.

Bought and fitted to my car. ARP makes an amazing product, well made, fit for purpose, clean solid threads. However, as someone who regularly orders lots of custom fasteners etc from companies like McMaster-Carr, it amazes me how these cleats can still cost $7 each. I'm not sure why there isn't more supply-side competition to do this. Either way, this is the best thing happening right now.

Great product. They were only installed in the front wheel hubs. The 02 WRX allows 5mm spacers for the front wheels, so installing snow tires (17" wheels) can help upgrade the Brembo brakes. I was able to install the new open ended nuts and get enough thread engagement. The studs are fitted when the wheel hub is fitted to the vehicle; It is not necessary to disassemble the hub.

VERY strong lug bolts, very long lug bolts, you will probably need an open ended nut. The best aftermarket solution for Nissan 350z and Infiniti G35. Mounting from the front is very easy, mounting from the back requires a little "trick" (remove the emergency drum brake, the strut into which the cable is inserted allows the bolt to be inserted). I wish they were cheaper but they are worth the price! Stay away from OEM, Nismo, bolt seals, etc.

This is a great product as are all Arp fasteners. BUT, just a side note, *and this is in no way a reflection of ARP or their products*, if your vehicle has aftermarket bushings like moog or skf, they most likely will not fit in the bolt hole and you will have to drill them. into the 14mm diameter hole and add a chamfer to ARP specification on both sides to press in the wheel studs. I often come across cars that are used on track because the hubs are usually replaced and rarely original.

Unfortunately they have been on my car for a year now and I broke one changing a wheel recently. They were originally purchased in March 2014 and installed shortly thereafter. You could actually see some oxidation on the ledge where it cracked. I was lucky that this happened when changing tires and not while driving. Needless to say I was very disappointed in a product that was supposed to have exceptional durability and strength. The studs were installed by the dealer and I treat my service…
