This unit was installed in a vintage 1984 Winnebago RV. Install same hole as OEM block and even all screw holes match. Installation took about 2 hours and everything was relatively easy. The device works great and now charges the bus batteries as it should. The only downside was the need to purchase all new switches as they were different from the OEM unit. On the plus side, it requires a standard squared jackhammer, which can be found at almost any hardware store or home workshop.

My converter put out 17.55 volts on my battery and 18 volts on one of my headlights! So I ordered exactly what was in my 2015 Springdale trailer. Ordered brown Revain black sent! The edge of the lid door was broken. The plastic latches holding the transducer were broken. So I removed the new converter and installed it in my block where it was bad. Everything works great now that I'm back at 13.6 volts DC. The hardest part was unscrewing the new grommets as they were very tight!

This unit was a good replacement for my Magnetek 6345, it fit snugly in the same hole and even the mounting feet fit. I marked the AC hotlines and followed the map on the old block for the 12V lines. With a little care changing the switches and fuses, routing all the wiring, and I got it up and running in under an hour and a half . The unit was very easy to install and replaced the old one perfectly. I marked the wires before pulling them out and this made it a lot easier to reinstall them in a new device. The new power converter had one wire less than the old one, but I followed the instructions and it worked great. I checked the converter output as instructed and it worked great. I replaced an old MagneTek 6345 Noisy Block with this in my 1994 Class A van. Most of this was obvious, but my old unit had an automatic ground/generator switch built in. Once I figured that out, everything went fine. I simply removed this part of the assembly from the old block and installed it behind the new block in the cabinet.
