I have a Corsair 4000d case. I bought this cable because the Corsair cable was out of stock and I was hoping all would go well as my water cooled setup would require my GPU to be mounted vertically. I'm currently debating whether to return the cable or drill the case, but none of the screw holes match the mounting holes built into the case. Obviously there is no standardization, but it seems to me that manufacturers could have accommodated this very large market segment for Corsair products, or

Intermittent outages

Seems very well done. Looks good and great for moving the GPU around. But that's where it all ends. I've been banging my head against the wall for days trying to figure out why my GPU sometimes shows up and others don't. Finally got the cable out of the loop and the GPU is solid. Sometimes the GPU showed up and sometimes it didn't. I'm still in the process of building a server, so I haven't gotten to do any really GPU-intensive work yet.

I'm so glad I waited to review this vertical cable.

It worked. and two days later he just gave up. I would give this product 5/5, but just when I thought it was ok, the symptoms of a boner defect started to appear. Two days earlier, the riser was running like clockwork. I was great at playing games and there was nothing wrong with that. Now two days later I can't play any of my games for ten minutes without the adapter cable losing connection to my GPU, my game freezing, my game crashing, a screen error notifying me that my graphics card is…

Beautiful, affordable, but only for "aesthetics ".

First, my case is not designed to mount a vertical GPU. And that usage was for personal preference only. Now I will say that it seems very durable even though I had to slide the strut back as shown in the photos. The extension with sleeves feels premium and only has small creases that are not visible due to my 2080. I used the duct tape method to make double sided tape to keep it from sliding in. my shop. The good thing is that while the GPU is pretty powerful, it doesn't really sit fully on…

25cm long. Too long

Too long. At 25cm instead of 20cm when plugged into the top PCIe slot, it curves at the top to fit your graphics card, and at the bottom it fits the bottom NVME drive. On a 3090, this heats the cable too much to be safe and puts too much pressure on the PCIe slot. It's a pretty tough cable. 20cm works fine but the phanteks cable is only pcie 3.0. It doesn't fit very well on the phanteks GPU mount because the phanteks mounting points are too far back. The front hole is fine, but the back hole is

Solid piece of engineering

I had never bought anything quite like this cable so I had absolutely no idea what to expect. It's very robust and reliable and fits easily between my Asus Strix Atx motherboard and the Zotac GTX 1080 Extreme card. I mean really hard. In the end, the length wasn't an issue and it fitted perfectly with my Be Quiet Dark Base 700, a very large mid-size case. As I said, I was worried it would be brittle and too short and damn I was wrong! I wasn't sure if a vertically mounted graphics card would…
