Suddenly the air was coming out of the air intake rather than out of the hole itself, so I know the hose is well sealed. I returned it and received a refund. I ordered this after not being able to find my old Dremel tool. I ordered this tool along with a cheap pack of 100 polishing tips. I've used it on various projects since then and so far so good. Inexpensive branded bits. Very smooth operation and much easier to control than my old Dremel.
