If you make your own wine, this is a handy way to bottle it. However, the tendency is to stuff the bag and if you do, it won't fit in the box. We have 3 liter wooden crates that fit in a filled bag, but you only need to fill them halfway to fit in the included crate. Of course, in the future we will only receive bags and skip the box.

These bags appear to be made out of nice, thick plastic. Very durable. Bought these for an upcoming hike/hike. Quoted capacity is 5 liters but fully loaded they approach 7.5 litres. The spout retains water even if the bag is handled aggressively. Can also be used as an inflatable pillow. The spout is difficult to pull out when pressure is applied, but this is not a problem and is unlikely to detach if handled roughly.

First of all the bags themselves are GREAT! continuous. airtight (I know I crushed it)! standing, I'm not sure. The concept is great, but they don't snap into place, so be careful pushing down - you'll need someone to hold the stand together while locking the spout - tricky when presenting a one-person show. You don't want to squeeze the spout without the stand as you will lose some liquid.

This is great. Simply "bottl" a 6-gallon batch of wine. Big markup from their online wholesale prices but I'm not willing to buy 300 pieces. I bought this stand to make it easier to snap the spout onto Astrapouch bag-in-box bags. What they don't mention is that the two pieces don't even stick together and come apart quite easily without help or external hardware (like a vise or another person to physically hold them together while you snap the spout).
