pieces at the right price.

Use as a lapping plate. Works well for the price, while there are definitely pricier options that perform better for significantly more power. You get what you paid for the situation. The longevity lasts for several months with light sanding in work kitchens. Cuts quickly to straighten the bars. Use a thinner Nagura and you will reduce the scratches from the diamond plate. The atom does not compensate in any way, neither shape nor form. Many Thanks

useless in principle. This is almost certainly NOT what you need when trying to sharpen knives. This is a piece of metal less than 20cm thick with a sticky backing that can be glued to an existing Atoma aluminum panel. Replacement of metal surfaces, part only. In itself it is useless. Judging by the sound, this replacement falls apart pretty quickly. It's less than 1/8 inch thick and won't do you much good on its own. Not what you might expect. I feel like I shot myself in the knee.

Pro: The 140 grit is definitely coarser (and faster) than my existing 300 grit (diamond) and 220 grit that I've already used on clocks. Better to use 140 than go to 220/300. then move up con: crushed stone is applied to a thin aluminum plate. it feels like you can click it like a map. necessarily flexible. should have read ALL the reviews. definitely not what I expected to have other diamond stones weighing like a brick.
