Ideal for just before the game.

We all have our own ways of keeping our vinyl clean. Still using the tried and tested Spin Clean bath, I also use the Record Doctor V for deep vacuuming (and when I'm too lazy to get Spin Clean!). Both are great. However, I find the AudioQuest brush to be the ideal tool for simply removing dust from a record before putting down the stylus. When used correctly, it works great. Unlike some reviewers, I didn't have an issue with static electricity. But I must reiterate that the right application…

Rag Expensive!: Audio & Video Accessories

I'm new to the vinyl hobby so feel free to factor that into this review if you'd like. A lot of these brushes are designed to remove static electricity from records and I liked that it did so I decided to buy this brush at double the price of all the others. The fibers must lead to a special gold pin and conduct all static charge through the user to the floor. This process can prevent additional static electricity build-up during the cleaning process, but will NOT remove static electricity from

Too hard, leaves light scratches

Maybe I'm just being too careful with my vinyl. I bought this to replace my old Audioquest brush. I've had 2 of these in the past and never had a problem with the original model. When I first tried this new brush, my first thought was that the bristles are quite stiff compared to the old version, perhaps because they are a bit shorter than the previous model.
