High quality, minimal cost.

Good value for money cables. I have two pairs and I really like them. Not as economical as, for example, the Emotiva connections which are my favorites so far, but not as expensive as some other expensive cables. My favorite feature is the way it is wrapped and jacketed as a single cable and split at both ends. This makes it easy to keep track of a couple as the couple is always together. Overall I am happy with these cables. Viable competitors could be Blue Jeans Cable and Emotiva…

Improved sound! see accessories and consumables

I connected these cables to my Fluance player and immediately noticed an improvement in the overall sound. It was a Christmas present, I resisted buying better cables but glad I got them. Having worked in a large audio/video retail store for almost 18 years, I knew in my heart that there are very few cables that really make a big difference in sound quality. Did some cable cause the tiny, sometimes imperceptible, difference? Yes, but I noticed a difference with them as soon as I played my first

Stay away from these

I used these connections between the phono stage and the turntable. The setup is a Project Carbon, Cambridge Audio Solo and Cambridge CXA 80. I had a very noticeable hum from the Ca Solo when nothing was playing. Touching the evergreen links would change the volume of the noise. I ended up replacing the evergreens with some old monsters (950s I think). The monster cable greatly reduced the noise. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the Audioquest cables. Keep in mind that the noise isn't

The Skeptical Cable Guy

I have to admit I'm a little skeptical about the best cables. But I got to the point that further modernization of the equipment brought serious money. For example, I found the perfect tube preamp for $25,000 and the perfect mono blocks for $17,000 each. This is too much for me now. I have decent systems but not the best. I started looking at these cables just to test them out, hoping there was a slight improvement. So $70 is a lot cheaper than $59,000. I was pleasantly surprised that these…

Maybe these are the only connections you need.

Over the last 30+ years, my audio condition has had its ups and downs. The highs were good, but I found that rebuilding and starting from a less than envious position can sometimes be an interesting experience. So the disadvantages also have their advantages. For the past 10 years I've pushed the audio hobby to the side while other interests have taken over. All selected items are for sale. Just one of those moments when you have to do the right thing. This trend is slowly beginning to change…
