Doesn't work for my thinning hair but that doesn't mean they don't work. They are small, about 1 inch wide and 3/4 long, and the teeth are strong, if somewhat rough. 20 pieces per pack, they are very suitable for the hairstyle. As for me, I don't use fixatives like hairspray or gel and my hair is probably four feet long so it just doesn't hold my hair up due to the weight. I have fine hair but long strands. Love it. I have thin hair and it allows me to put my hair up in a variety of styles without having to pluck it out with traditional bobby pins. They take a little getting used to if you've never used a hairbrush before, but once you get the hang of it you're good to go. Lighter than regular combs and small enough to store even the smallest bundle.

The combs are the perfect size but they slip out of my hair easily and don't hold my bangs. I have fine hair but plastic combs work great, they just break too easily. I end up not even being able to use them as they don't stay in place.
