Needed white pants for a wedding for our 7 year old (I ordered him 5 bq which is what he wears as he is quite skinny). They're ok, the material is a bit see-through/slightly cheaper material and the fit isn't very flattering (bigger at the top and a zip down versus a slimmer/skinnier fit). They worked great for a 1 day occasion but didn't like it. The belt helps them look good.

He is a self proclaimed carb lover and is quite a bit overweight in the waist. While he has no problem dressing (waist) a medium size 10 (but not in length), this pair fits him perfectly from waist to hem. For others, it may be loose for a typical 8-year-old and too short for a 10-year-old. I also love that it doesn't wrinkle or get dirty (amazing because it's white!)

make sure you wear only white underwear under these pants. They are beautiful and I'm glad they have a bit of stretch and the belt is a style bonus although we don't need it for functionality.
