I bought this adapter to install an aftermarket radio on my 2004 GMC Envoy. It was very easy to install and works as described. I was a little wary of the unit based on some reviews but it fit me well. As mentioned elsewhere, just read the instructions carefully when connecting it to the aftermarket wiring harness. I find it helpful to mark the connections with a marker and do the moves first before you start soldering.
