I thought this smart device was a brilliant idea and it works very well. But making it so that it's sealed tight can take forever. Might be a good hostess gift for those who party often so they can wrap up any leftovers at the end of the night to save for later.

This is an excellent wine for those times when you don't want to finish the bottle but want to retain the flavor of the wine. The pump removes most of the air that oxidizes fine wines and spoils their taste. The set also includes two standard reusable wine bottle stoppers. I highly recommend this wine screensaver! This is what the wine connoisseur needs!

Gave this to my son because I don't drink wine. He tried it with a bottle of champagne this week and it didn't work. He said he would try other bottles again if he opened them, but that might be of limited use. Will let you know if he thinks it matches the bottles he's buying. However, we are surprised that the bottle neck and cork are not standard sizes. 2.5 stars

Pretty easy to use, just pop a cork into an open bottle and hold the vacuum pump over the cork to evacuate the air and minimize oxygenation of the wine. Click on the cork at the top to remove it from the bottle. Plug and pump are made of durable, high-quality plastic. Long-term durability remains to be seen.

I've been using the Vacu Vin system for years to keep open bottles of wine fresh and am excited to have this new system to keep in our bag when we're on the go. for hiking. Unfortunately, they do not withstand the suction power of some wine bottles, depending on the size of the wine bottle neck, which can vary greatly, especially in different countries. This is a really inexpensive way to 'seal' a wine bottle. It's easy to use and fits in a bottle in most cases and works great. It's certainly easier than trying to put the cork back in the bottle and more effective than trying to cover it with plastic wrap! The price (about $10) is fantastic.
