Description of πŸ‘“ Barracuda Fenix Swim Goggle with Curved Lenses for Adults (72755)

Shatter-resistant curved lenses with durable anti-fog coating and UV protection: You can see clearly underwater and enjoy swimming as long as you want while swimming for training and recreation. High based curved lenses offer wide peripheral vision without distortion to keep you fully aware of your surroundings in the water. Patented TriFusion system gaskets: The low-pressure design is meant to reduce goggle marks and damage to under-eye skin. The size of the gaskets is designed to fit snugly inside the eye socket without too much pressure. With this three-layer construction composed of more rigid plastic on the outer layer to hold the goggles’ shape and softer rubber that feels good on the face, the gaskets won’t leave you with marks from too much suction around the eye sockets. Rotatable easy-adjusting side clips with soft split silicone headstrap: Adjusting the strap tightness only takes a few seconds. The flexible split silicone strap distributes pressure evenly around the head and helps to hold the goggles in place. 3 different sizes of flexible interchangeable nosebridges to provide a custom fit: The 3 interchangeable nose pieces accommodate most of the face shapes. Changing out the nose bridge is as easy as rotating it 45Β° and popping it in or out.

Comfortable BUT leaves a mark

Very comfortable with no suction, great grip on the water and no fogging at all. Unfortunately they leave marks, but it's the most comfortable glasses I've ever worn.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad

Not as described. - Swimming

I bought these glasses because they said they don't leave dark circles and are gentle on the skin. I got out of the pool six hours ago and I still have bags around my eyes. And they don't work. My eyes watered and I couldn't see anything. I think I'll keep looking.

  • Confident

Straps don't adjust

Frustrated that I can't use google. I had to adjust the straps and assume it would be easy. No way. The thumb levers (which hold the straps) didn't move. I even followed the Barracuda USA setup instructions. Still wouldn't move. I had to send them back because they are defective.

Pros
  • Stable results when testing
Cons
  • Fixing

Two swims and one eye started to leak

I bought these based on reviews from people with big noses. My bridge is high and I thought this would help. After two strokes they started leaking and didn't fit my nose any better than the speedometer glasses I already had. I wouldn't bother if you had a high bridge of the nose. Just be patient or try Swedish glasses.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Speed

A tight fastener is required to ensure a tight seal

They started with great visibility and no leaks. However, on my third outing, they started seeping into my left eye. I had to tighten the strap to stop the leak to the point where the goggles hurt my head. I give up and order another brand, maybe it's just my face structure, but these don't fit me.

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Quality

This is NOT SkylineNW Barracudas

These are not the classic deep foam Barracuda pillows I've been buying for 30 years. Somehow some Chinese company came up with the name Barracuda. All instructions are clear and incomprehensible. .The three sizes of nose bridge are actually only two sizes, but they give you 3 bridges. If you pay $24 through Revain, that's a perfectly reasonable price - if you pay $45 on their Kibo site, you're wasting your money.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unnecessary Features
