FALSE ADVERTISEMENT (link to image below). This product is *not* made of 100% boar bristles, but mainly nylon. After a few weeks of use, I was amazed that the brush didn't soften and held back the oils I had applied to my beard. Upon closer inspection, I noticed nylon. It's over, there is some boar hair, but most of it is nylon (if you look at the product image, everything that is pure black is nylon). Do not buy this product. I really like this brush. It's very pretty and I really like holding it in my hand. The quality of the wood is very good, the surface is smooth. I know there is a lot of controversy as to whether or not this is real boar hair, but that's how it seems to me. When I wash it, it smells like a wet animal (make sure you don't wet brush it!). I love this brush. I'm a guy with pretty long hair that I definitely can't style easily with my fingers. For years I shared my morning comb and styling comb with my wife and I never liked it.
