For the most part I find this product to be a solid replacement for the Dell OEM power cord. I got it for my relative's laptop which sits on a desk and doesn't need to be moved. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who keeps their laptop portable and therefore frequently plugs and unplugs this adapter as the port on the laptop was less than ideal. I received the right adapter for my laptop, but the plug is too long. It's about a millimeter longer and doesn't sit flush with the laptop. That's my only criticism.
