but poor quality control makes the finned part of the heatsink.

Will not fit BMW Radiator Expansion Tank Mounting Plate on 2005 BMW Z4 3.0. All holes and mounting tabs are "very close" in the right places, but due to poor quality control, the finned portion of the heatsink is 1/8" smaller from top to bottom than the original heatsink. This resulted in the mounting plate not fitting properly would be aligned without cutting the plastic on the mounting plate and it would also result in the stem with the o-ring on the mounting plate not fitting as far into the

Pros
  • Thoroughly tested to every detail
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Works great but note the drain plug is different.

Fits well and does the job perfectly. Just note that the drain plug is a large black plastic slotted nut where the blue BMW drain plug should be. I'm a bit afraid to take it off, but it's good that in a few years I won't need it anymore. I had to do a lot of research to find out what the drain plug was in there (it doesn't look like you would expect). I suspected the big crown nut was the drain all along. When it comes to an important part, you want to be sure.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Inlet and outlet too small

This took 4 hours of my day. It took about 2 hours to remove the old radiator and install the new one. Everything was fine until I started putting coolant back into the system. Noticed a constant flow of coolant pouring out of the bottom end. I thought I didn't tighten the hose properly. nope The zippers were tightly closed. The O-ring may have fallen off during installation. nope Returned it to a position where it no longer flows. Refill coolant done. I started the engine, warmed everything up

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...
