Two deer ignored me

Bought these for a 14 hour trip to Colorado. I didn't see a single deer going there or coming back. But when I got back and drove through my neighborhood, I saw two deer randomly crossing the street. As I got closer (and once they were over and in the yard) I hit 35mph. Neither of them looked back at my car. I was hoping for some kind of reaction so the jury is still out. But they are good for peace of mind. For the price and how cool they look, who cares.

I'm glad I had these! for interior

Bought before I went to Leakey Bandera, Texas for the Twisted Sisters motorcycle tour. Free range grazing is practiced in the area and although it is a large area for highly fenced exotic hunting, goat, cattle and deer are plentiful in the Edwards Plateau region. I climbed 336 on day one and noticed cattle and goats moving away from the road as I approached. Anyway, while we drove around the neighborhood for two days, nothing was scared. I felt safer with them. I laid them side by side on myโ€ฆ

save your money That does not workโ€ฆ.

I don't think it works. It's a placebo at best. Met a deer a month ago, bought this to give me some hope. Well, on the way home from Colorado, Nebraska, and Iowa, 8 deer at various roadside spots didn't even notice me passing. I'm just grateful they didn't choose to cross the street while I was driving past at 65 mph. They didn't even look up and walked in the opposite direction as I passed. So either all the deer are deaf, or this thing doesn't even make a sound, it doesn't work. save yourโ€ฆ

On my truck for 4 years, even on regular car wash trips.

I can't say I know 100% that they work, I can only tell you that before I loaded them onto my truck on a dark freeway one night in 2006, I charged a group of 8 ran big bucks that literally, by the grace of God, something in my head warned me to slow down just a few seconds before and I didn't hit anyone. But it scared me and I've had these things on my truck ever since and haven't seen any deer on or near the freeway despite living in the country. These are my second pair since I painted myโ€ฆ

BE SURE IT WORKS.

These alerts definitely work. I live in Northwest Pennsylvania and commute across the country to work every day. Yesterday, during my morning drive before sunrise, the dollar just fell off my shoulder. The deer ran beside the road. As I got closer, the deer turned right and ran away from my car into the field. Driving home late at night, I drove down a road where tall grass completely blocked my view. The deer jumped out of the grass 20 feet in front of my car. The deer ran. The deer quicklyโ€ฆ

Good security feature at an affordable price.

I recently moved to the Northern Mountains of Arizona. Up here there are dark roads and huge mooses that sometimes decide to play chickens with the cars. After driving past some large moose that would seriously crush my car in a collision, I started looking into deer warning systems. There has been much speculation as to whether or not these systems work. Of all the wildlife warning systems I've researched, this design seems to have the most scientific basis. Although anecdotally, sinceโ€ฆ

I hate deer. (Updated December 8)

If you live in a city and don't see deer often, they can be real animals. But if you live in northern Michigan and similar areas, they're just as common as gulls and just as destructive. Climb people's gardens, eat trees, defecate everywhere, and wreck hundreds of cars a year. Deer hunting is wrong. "If you slow a bullet to 55 miles an hour, put headlights and a little horn on it, the deer literally jumps in front of the bullet," said Ron White. Northern Michigan Peninsula. Since I started last
