I have to admit that initially this helmet felt huge, chunky and heavy. By the end of my second trip, my body had gotten used to it. Now my other helmets feel so light and flimsy I don't trust them anymore. I locked my front brakes on loose gravel, got off the bike and went over the bars, landing on the ground and doing a somersault. I don't want to imagine what would have happened without this helmet. Not impressed with design or functionality I bought into the hype that this is a really cool new helmet. As a half helmet without a mask, it is functional but not optimal. The rear collar area is bad at catching wind and makes it difficult to turn your head at high speed, which is a safety issue.
