Very happy with the value of these

I bought these to cut corners and curves in steel paneling for our 80x50 workshop. All in all, it worked wonders, and apart from a few sharp corners around the edge, this little rodent got the job done with spare space. Our sheet steel was 26 gauge, so passing through the material wasn't an issue.

Pros
  • Scissors & Hole Punch
Cons
  • No Automatic

Cuts thin flat sheet metal but will not cut metal with nubs/bulges

I have a metal trim cutter for my workshop but it will not cut nubs/bulges. I ended up using my oscillating saw for these areas. Another limitation of the tool is that the handle does not rotate and the cutting head stays in place. For example, if you are cutting metal in a tight space and need to rotate the handle 90 degrees, the cutting head will rotate with the tool and change the direction you want to cut.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Damaged

Do not buy this for corrugated iron roofs

The product looked really well made and durable. Loved trying it out on the roofing project I bought it for. Cutting corrugated iron roofs was completely impossible. The cutting head is too close to the trigger and the combs cannot go around. The return policy was great and they refunded my purchase in full even though it was lightly used within 10 minutes. This can be good for flatter metal surfaces.

Pros
  • Stampings
Cons
  • Slightly torn
