I have painted and varnished A LOT (hundreds) in my time. I've tried almost every brand of "cabinet" paint. This is by far the best I've ever used. The paint is very thick and easy to apply. Preparatory work is always an important step, especially when painting kitchen cabinets. This paint has a very nice color and texture. It's so easy to work with and the self-leveling technology is very gentle. I used it to paint old kitchen cabinets. I cleaned the cabinets with TSP cleaner to remove dirt, sanded them with a hand sander and even applied a coat of Kiltz wood primer.
