They seem to be doing their job. Use of plastic to avoid galvanic corrosion on aluminum frames. The tip material appears to be a bit hard plastic, but it fits the body and the bike well. I expected more from nylon material. We'll see how they hold up in cold weather and limestone off gravel roads.
