The width of this product did not match my soap. I had to carefully check the dimensions of the item with a bread pan. The slider that adjusts to the thickness of the bar of soap is not strong enough to hold the soap in place while cutting as there is only one wing nut.

This soap mold is poorly designed. The 1/4 inch internal width is too small for soap made in a standard loaf pan, so it's practically useless. Basically it's a block of wood held in place by a hex head screw that goes through a slot on the bottom. The wood is soft so the hex head basically rotates rather than a slot being a 'stop' that holds the screw so the wing nut can be loosened or tightened. Cutter.

Cheap and inexpensive. I made about 90 bars of soap in rectangular log shapes and then cut them out with that. It worked well. My only gripe is that the adjustable locking block in the cutting bay only has a wing nut to lock it in place, so it's pretty easy to accidentally shift or twist if you don't twist it too hard.
