I was glad I got it but I think the original one that comes with the vacuum cleaner is much better. This one doesn't seem to absorb as much as the regular one.

I bought this to replace the one on my mid range vacuum. This works much better than the tufted carpet variant. The only drawback was the insanely high price of this accessory. Hope bissel is working on making their products cheaper.

I should have listened to other reviews. It has nothing to do with gender at all. After installing this soft roller and vacuuming, I still have dust and dirt on my hardwood floor. I reinstalled the ORIGINAL BRUSH and BINGO roller! There is no dust and dirt. I'll be back, so disappointed.

I have almost 100 year old hardwood floors that are painted very dark brown (Jacobean style) and I was hoping this brush roller would get into the gaps between the planks. Unfortunately, the fibers don't even seem long enough to get surface dust off the floor. A bit disappointed as it looks like a great accessory otherwise - the gray fibers are very soft and the black stripe is a bit more durable. I just wish they were 1/8 or 1/4 inch longer so they actually make contact with the wood floor.
