Sounds really clear, crisp and balanced.

Compared to some other cables - both commercial and home made Excellent clarity, definition and balance. Used between Cambridge Audio amplifiers and Triangle speakers. Also used between a Cambridge Audio amplifier and Wharfedale speakers.

Excellent value for money on cables and connectors

Well made cable, strong, quality termination and connectors. Banana blocking works quite well and provides a solid connection. While it's not the last word in terms of sound, it's far better than anything I've heard in this price range, and even several times more expensive. Very pleased and will be looking at other Blue Jeans Cable products in the future.

Pros
  • Quick change

Banana plug burst after two years of use

Purchased on 11/17. The top of the banana cork is divided in half. They no longer end at speaker terminals. I called and asked about the guarantee and was told 30 days. I was then told it was a wear and tear issue. Your repair costs $15. Worn speaker wire? Even the monster's banana cable plugs didn't break after two years. The least they could do is offer another banana plug and I would fix it myself. They are not made to last. No help from support. Go to the store in town and buy yourselfโ€ฆ

Don't think twice about audio cables

I'm an audiophile and audio skeptic. I've long believed that all speaker wire sounds the same. I was also skeptical about bi-wiring the speakers, which always struck me as a gimmick. These cables changed my mind on both counts. I recently went to the speaker wire trying to make big bang. I've used Monoprice's 12 Awe cable and haven't complained, but my system is very sensitive to changes, so I was wondering if more expensive cables could offer a bit more performance. I tried Audioquest Rocketโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Updates

Good construction, custom dimensions, quality components, proprietary cables, highly reliable connectors, and *very* affordable prices. There is even a test report. If you want to try bi-wiring I can't think of a better cable or company than Blue Jeans Cable. I looked at many bi-wire cables from several companies before buying them. Some of them are "prettier" and also use the Canare 4S11 cable I was looking for, but in the end I was won over by published specs, custom reviews, ultrasonicallyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Too long to wait
