I love these blades. They don't deform as easily as other manufacturers' larger V-blades. They also have a very nice smooth cut without having to start at the edge or corner of the blade.

I may have used the original for as many years but it doesn't look like they will do perform the same functions just as easily as with straight blades. However, these are quality blades and to me they last significantly longer than anything but fine.

This is a wider version of the blade that comes with many Bosch multi-tools. The "J" in the model number refers to a Japanese tooth. The reference to the bimetal is a thin strip that is welded to the end of the blade and the teeth are cut into this bimetal strip. The "J" blades are the fastest wood saws from Bosch.
