🍷 Breville Wine Chiller: Optimal Cooling for Your Favorite Wines Review

This product did nothing but put a bottle in the fridge. We have sent it back to the seller and hope to get our money back.

This is a fantastic product that I have been using for over two years. The winemaker was so impressed that I gave it to his fiancee for her birthday. It cools down faster when connected to the mains, but also works well without a cable. It's best to put cold cells and a bottle on top, then add cold water or put a few cubes on top. This is much better than chilling in an ice bucket, and is also great for serving by simply pouring out the water after the wine has cooled.

product works fine, but we don't like our super cold Chardonnay either. I'm not sure an ice bucket filled with water and ice won't do the same in a little more time. (You might want to try this before buying this cooler.) My main reason for writing this review is that the cooler cells ooze freezing gel after about 3-4 months of intermittent use. It's supposed to be "food safe," but it shouldn't happen anyway. I will contact Brevelle and hope they get it right.

I received this item as a gift last Christmas. We would like. We are avid drinkers and collectors of wine, mostly red, so my wine fridge didn't have much room for white wine (and my reds are set to temperature). It was a great gift for us, I think it gets cold very quickly. It even gives my wine a little more chilling than I like, but my husband likes it colder than me, so I pour it first and then change it to chill a little longer for him. good! I love this product, don't know why it gets such bad reviews. I bought 3 as gifts. Didn't pay $50 as I had a coupon so $40 is worth the money in my opinion. Yes, a bucket and ice work just as well with water, but then you'll exhaust most of your ice supply and have to rotate the bottle by hand. I would only use 7 minutes for the Chardonnay otherwise I would use 15 minutes but if you are that worried about the next 8 minutes. You're a bigger drunk than me. Wine is a lot colder than putting
