Like other reviews. It's such a nice fresh smell when it's where you want it. The smell goes away. I bought these because they sat in the closet at my doctor's office and I loved the smell! Since I thought that it must be a durable industrial product, I went on a search! Since it was in a closed bathroom, it worked much better in my opinion. I will buy them again but for my closets! :)

I kept this in my room in Afghanistan. Even with a few guys in the room, smelly uniforms and boots, and the general stink of the air in Afghanistan, it did a good job of improving the smell in the room. It took longer than stated on the packaging, almost two months, so that was a bonus. Even after it dries, I could pour some water in it and it would keep doing its job.

Update. I just flipped the inner gel and it renewed the scent. The top seems to be drying out while the bottom is still damp and fragrant. This is the only air freshener I buy! I like the citrus scent. It's thin but smells amazing! They last at least 2-3 months, although the scent gets a lot lighter as the inner "stuff" dissolves. I use them in the hallway of my suitable home to remove the smell of cigarette smoke, next to the toilet and tray to remove these smells and on the bus I ride to keep

I have a bathroom that must have had dead bodies buried in the walls or was built over an ancient Indian tomb because it has (or had) an irresistible smell as if it were inhabited by ghosts. It's a pretty small room, though, so I just used my knife to cut a few slits in the foam rather than overpowering us all with the citrus scent. It seems to be working very well.
