Brooks Range Black White 8 5 Sports & Fitness Review

Well I bought these shoes because I read and was told how good Brooks shoes are. So I decided to try them out. The side of the sole digs into my foot. I felt it as soon as I put the shoe on. As my first pair of Brooks I was disappointed. Maybe the one I had didn't cut or glue well. The shoes also felt a little tighter than I expected. Either way, I'll be back and probably won't try the Brooks brand again.

Although I love Brooks shoes and also wear them as work shoes I was a bit disappointed in them. I put them on the day after receiving them and ended up slipping on the sidewalk and landing on my knee. They were also slippery in my kitchen like they had oil on their soles. They are comfortable but not safe to wear. As I threw the box away I can't return it so it's basically a waste of money when it comes to shoes for work. (I am a nurse). I would not recommend them for running as I slipped while

I really like the style and look of these Brooks. Unfortunately, shoes that are left and tied have an awkward crease in the toe area that makes the shoe unwearable. I tried 3 pairs of different sizes of the same shoe and each pair wrinkled in the toe area and rubbed the toe in the same way (see photo). I only wore them at home for about 30 minutes and the crease became too uncomfortable. Unfortunately I have to go back and look for a cheaper model. Every other aspect of the shoe is great!

I love Brooks shoes. I've been using them for almost 10 years now and love every pair I've bought. Unfortunately, this pair doesn't sit properly on one of my legs. The left shoe slides outwards when walking/running. I've never had problems like this with shoes. I walk to work and ran 5 miles my first day in this shoe to fix while I walk all day. They didn't fit me. I have narrow feet (usual size 10N) but since reviewers said they are narrow I decided to try them. I ordered half a size larger than recommended so 10.5 is average.
