Brooks isn't produced like it used to be. It was the only shoe that fit my feet. Now I have probably 16 pairs. The dimensions of this new pair differ in length and width. I matched them to the same shoes that are two years old. Really different.

I have been ordering Brooks Addiction styles for years because they provide good arch support. My daughter gets Ghosts as they suit her better. I love the fact that I can always rely on the same fit. They come in wide widths and I also ordered them in white and black leather for work. Once you find a style that suits your feet, you can rest assured that it will be consistent.

So I think Brooks has strayed from the great toe design of their shoes. I tried this shoe and the Ravanna 8, both fit the same sock size. The outer part of the shoes runs at a strange angle, following the ball of the foot towards the toe of the shoe, there is not enough space for my real toes on the outside. I couldn't resist, too expensive for a shoe that just fits perfectly.

I have some problems with my feet and I wear orthopedic insoles, these shoes are very comfortable and I can wear them all day without any problems. First pair of shoes I've ever owned that I can actually wear, they're deep and have enough room for my orthotics. I have neuropathy, flat feet, plantar fasciitis and a deformity in one foot due to all the issues over the years.
