I usually wear Converse. But it's also a great alternative. The sole is actually comfortable and has some cushioning. I can wear it all day and have no complaints.

These shoes look great as shown on the web but the quality was really poor, the soles and insoles are not for walking comfortably and the fit is very tight. and i give them back.

When I first get my hands on a pair of Burneties (these are my third ones) I adjust the laces to the correct tension, double knot them and never mess around with them again. I only use side zippers and never have to deal with untied laces.

I just received it and am putting it on, "breaking in" so to speak. They are very comfortable and fit my foot, which is wider than most, well and adjust to your liking. The packaging was above average, as was the pre-lacing.

Looks and feels good. The price is right. Lots of compliments. The zipper also makes my life easier as I tie my sneakers and use the zipper there afterwards. I plan to buy other colors. Only problem is I just noticed a small tear on one shoe next to the zipper. Sometimes I'm a bit rough with the zipper and sometimes I wear thicker socks and because the shoes are tied there's no room for the zipper to stretch. Thus, the weaker region is eliminated.
