It does its job

As the name suggests, it does its job. It seems to capture most of the dust from the outside but doesn't pick up odors like smoke or skunk smell. It lasts from 6 months to a year.

FRAM a well known branded product at a great price

The air filter for my Toyota Prius was packaged properly and arrived in good condition. I ordered a FRAM product because I trust the quality of FRAM. I think I got a reasonable offer too.

Fewer wrinkles means this FRAM air filter is slightly inferior to the Toyota Denso OEM filter, but at a much lower price.

Compared to the Toyota DENSO OEM filter, which holds them tight with a ruler, the Toyota filter has a third more pleats, which means it captures more dust and dirt before it can Airflow restricted. FRAM = 9 pleats per inch / weighs 130 grams. Toyota = 12 pleats per inch / weighs 160 grams. FRAM filters made in the USA do not have the metal mesh shown in the photo. Those made in Mexico have a metal grille. Since FRAM is sometimes half the price of a Toyota filter and my Prius filter only takes 2
