Great concept

I liked that it was 50 feet long and well made, but from a technical point of view (unbalanced cable and all) I assumed the extra noise would be introduced before I ordered it. I thought I'd give it a try but it wouldn't work for my application which connects to an audio switcher's headphone output and a switcher's audio input. I can use up to 16 feet of cable with no noise. This 50ft cable was unusable and I had to return it due to the noise factor. I imagine it would work well for less…

The connector broke the first day the cable was unplugged

I chose this cable because it had good reviews and seemed to be of better quality than some others. The surcharge for seemingly better quality didn't pay off this time. I tested it as soon as I got it and the second time I unplugged it the connector broke. I wasn't particularly careful, but I wasn't too rude either. And definitely think it takes more than 10 minutes without packaging. Zero stars for durability. Otherwise it's a good cable. The fabric gives it a beautiful look. The sound quality

Connecting PC powered speakers, stereo amplifier and second computer

This item worked very well and in the area that bothered me the most; each end connected via an additional line-in to a Y-adapter for my active PC audio speakers and my stereo amplifier; Unfortunately, line cables don't have anything that looks like, say, an RCA audio cable with one end that "wraps" around the input jack. This item fits snugly and snugly, although I wish there was a way to secure the connection with some sort of gizmo similar to those available for connecting two extensions…
