📸 Gimbal Mount for Cannon Camera Review

Bought these to match my 30 degree x 9 inch rod holders that are mounted low on my boat. I fitted them with Cannon Uni-Troll 10STX downriggers and placed them in the rod holders. They have a slight tilt in the rod holder but once set up they run fairly stable. Mounting on the downrigger allows me to remove the downrigger when not in use and store it or protect it from theft. I am happy with them and would recommend them to anyone with a similar downrigger.

Heavy duty aluminum. Numerous holes in the top allow for the addition of a Scotty downrigger ball holder or rod holder (although you will need to slightly enlarge the holes in the plastic ball holder and/or drill a new hole or two to mount the rod holder base). The welds looked great, the finish looks great and the holes matched my Cannon Easy Troll downriggers perfectly. Can't wait to use this March/April setup for spring stripes.

These are solid builds that a manufacturer should be proud of. and they just weren't strong enough to get the job done. The fit and finish is very good and when Washing the boat easy to clean.
