Too big to fit in my dishwasher so I hardly ever use this cutting board. But it's a good quality chopping board and it's great when I'm making vegetable stew or anything else that requires a lot of veg chopping.

This board has a groove around the perimeter to collect liquid, which is very handy when cutting meat. The size is larger than most cutting boards, giving you a nice workspace.

Thanks to another reviewer for the tip of using chopping boards to cover the stove grate. We bought 2 of these cutting boards and they fit perfectly with the GE Profile rectangular gas range burner grates. Square lids are hard to find and the ones we found were flimsy. I have had to change the grates twice since buying the oven - they are easily damaged by cast iron pans. I hope the cutting boards stay looking new for longer.

I like the ridges on the edges to keep the juice and moisture from the cut food from spilling onto surrounding surfaces. I've recently made Thanksgiving and Christmas meals with the Catskill. It was great because of the large surface area, I was able to cut multiple pieces, place them on the edge of the cutting board in neat little piles and cut more and more. The Catskill has been through hard work with no blemishes or deep cuts. This is now officially my favorite cutting board in the house.
