The setup worked great for my old work truck's AC.

Used these on my '92 Izusu work truck. The original AC fittings were smaller, so a standard department store freon bottle would not fit in a low-pressure fitting. This adapter did the trick and once again I got good cool air for a lot less than a mechanic.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Out of date

My car doesn't work

I unscrewed the old R12 low pressure fitting and screwed this on. It looked good and matched the R134 pressure hose. However, the reading with the R134 pressure hose was now zero (no pressure) because the Schrader valve is not touching the pin on the threaded connection. I had to go back to the original low pressure fitting. You shouldn't send it back.

Pros
  • Air conditioning
Cons
  • I'm not saying anything
