Very good mechanical connection.

I thought I had a problem with the connector not holding very firmly until I pushed very hard and the connector snapped in very firmly. Be careful with the soldering iron. You can easily melt plastic. Otherwise I can recommend this product.

Pros
  • Audio cable
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Stereo jack cables don't have a pin

This socket works but doesn't have a pin for the pad, so if the plug moves away from the socket a little, the ferrule will lose connection. I had to add a tab on the outside of the connector to get around this, it makes the connection extremely unreliable. If you can work around this limitation, then this connector works fine.

Pros
  • Cables and Connections
Cons
  • Not bad

So, these are four-pin (TRRS), 2.5mm. That's what I ordered, that's what I received. So far, so good. I then follow the schematic, soldering what I need to get my cables working. So far so good, and everything is fine on first testing, so I'm reassembling my headphones and using them. After several disassembly and swapping of cables for testing, I noticed problems, the connector is loose. With two different cables I get the same result: if I stand still it works, if I move my head the cable…

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • Secret
