I had high hopes for this cord. I was intrigued by the metal mesh on the outside and the support and protection it offers. I like this charging cable. Its metal cover protects it when I close it on my car's center console (where my favorite charging socket is). I had problems with a non-genuine Kenwood stereo that lost its cable connection when using Waze. I used a regular phone cord to send wired signals to my kenwood stereo. During my research, Kenwood Tech advised me to upgrade my wired connection to a higher class, I upgraded to this and the problem is gone! Hope this review was helpful to you!

The standard USB-A to USB-C plastic cable for my bluetooth speaker broke so I replaced it with this CGCWW cable. The quality of this new cable and my old one is night and day. This cable uses a metal braided housing and is much more flexible and durable than the old plastic that broke. I had no problem charging any of my USB-C devices with this cable and the charging time was pretty much the same as the old one. I am very happy with this cable and would recommend it.

It supports fast charging and appears to be very durable - the cable has some sort of metal coil wrapped around its entire length so it doesn't look like it's going to break anytime soon.
