Fell apart as soon as I tried to use it for.

Falls apart as soon as I tried to use it as a gift. The handle is broken off, the hook is broken. I wanted to return but I had already passed 30 days. I wish I had tried it when I bought it. I just put it away and waited until I needed it as a gift. I won't do it again.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Too Stupid

Beautiful wine box for a wine box ceremony at a wedding

We bought these for our wedding for a so called wine ceremony. It's beautiful and it's wonderful. Looks cool and feels vintage. Many have praised us for the idea of the ceremony and the wine box. Couldn't be happier. We look forward to opening it for our 5th wedding anniversary.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Difficult to remember but it was

I'm just glad there wasn't a bottle of wine in there.

Bought as a present for my husband's birthday. The buttons securing the handle came out even before it was used - by lifting the empty handle. scored it back; they separated again. I wouldn't normally complain about something that can be fixed, but this is clearly a poorly made product. I'm just glad there wasn't a bottle of wine in there when it happened.

Pros
  • High quality assembly
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Arrived damaged/defective

Item arrived damaged. The inside of the box was broken. It was packaged very well for postage, so it is possible it is a marriage. It's a gift for today anyway, so I hate to return it. Hope the recipient doesn't look in the box! Also in the review there is a leatherette, the only leatherette in the upper part of the box is the handle. The side and front trims that look like faux leather in the photo are actually made of wood.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Only available in black

This wine box is beautiful, it looks just like the picture and we were so excited when it arrived. We were planning to use it at our wedding ceremony in a few weeks. The ceremony involves the transfer of a bottle of wine and two letters to each other. Each year on your anniversary you drink wine, read the letters, and then replace them with new letters and wine for the next year. However, when he was lifted by the handle just three times, the handle broke. It wasn't a very expensive wine box…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Poor

good item. suitable for bar supplies and beverages

I bought two of these to hold 2 bottles of mead which I am giving as Christmas gifts this year. I wanted something medieval to hold them. These boxes meet all requirements. They came in and are light but feel like they are solidly built. They are not made of thick wood. The coloring of the wood is beautiful and consistent throughout the box. Both snap easily. The strap at the top is firmly fixed and is a fairly thick piece of leather. I gave them 4 stars because the decorative hardware on one…

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
