Nice to see what you're working on

Easily fits directly into a Viking 3000 series helmet making it a lot easier to see the workpiece . Now I can see seams and welds better. Great product and great price.

Improved welds

I didn't realize I was bad at seeing the puddle. I added this to the HF hood, it fitted perfectly. Now I see what I'm welding.

Pros
  • DURABLE - Polycarbonate construction to prevent cracks and increase durability while reducing weight
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Now you can see clearly!

No more compensating goggles to wear under my welding helmet. This product is a great idea for far-sighted people who need help seeing things up close. The increase has allowed me to make better welds with my MIG and TIG welders. No more fuzzy areas when I run a bead of hot melted metal wire, join two pieces of metal together, place beads like dimes on aluminum with my TIG or e with my MIG! Simply cute, sweet, strong, direct and neat!

Pros
  • LIGHTWEIGHT - Compact 1 ounce design for comfort when added to a welding helmet
Cons
  • Wrinkled

I'm not sure if the lens will help me either, but I wanted to give it a try anyway. So I had to adjust the lens. The height was perfect but the width is a little too big. I used a Dremel sanding drum to slowly remove enough plastic from the edges to fit in my auto-darkening insert. Then I used black tape around the edges to secure it. There is
