Looks good and works well

I'm not a knife specialist. . . The chef's knife I used was an inexpensive model. . . But I can definitely say that this is a very good knife and a pleasure to use. The knife is medium weight, the handle has a pleasant, comfortable grip, it feels good in the hand. The blade is very sharp and cuts through vegetables quickly and even cuts through corn on the cob quickly. I was able to easily cut very thin slices, and dicing the garlic and herbs was quick and easy. I am satisfied with both the…

Mine arrived in a very nice box, it seems quite heavy but it glitters unlike more expensive ones like those with embossed effects (which are functional as they hold the food you are cutting) . stick to the knife) are usually made of Damascus steel. I would say it's mid-range. Doesn't look like a cheap (Chinese) fake but I don't think it will last too long. It's a good price for what it is. High quality (Shun) like these are actually quite expensive.

  • Definitely a bad product

This is a well made knife that does its job perfectly. It comes in a wooden case and its blade and tip are covered in plastic to prevent the user from accidentally cutting themselves. It is heavier than most knives and feels good in the hand. My wife had trouble slicing onions, but she put her knife through the sharpener and it cut straight. Previously, she had to cut sun-dried tomatoes with scissors because of their leathery texture. Even a sharpened cleaver could not cut them evenly. But this

Lean and effective.

Initially very happy with this knife. Without a doubt, it will provide quality cutting in my kitchen. Whether it will hold the blade well and grind easily remains to be seen. I'll update this review once I see how well it performs over the long term. As for his looks, I'm a fan of his. The handle has a distinct wood look, the shape of which perfectly matches the shape of the blade. It looks chic and well put together. The forged top edge of the blade looks cool, but I'm not sure that adds much…

Conclusion: The knife looks very high quality; Comes in a wooden case giving it a premium feel. very sharp; Made in China Good: - Really sharp knife that appears to be high quality. Not sure about durability yet, but I like what I see. I can't help but emphasize the high quality of the knife. It has a nice grip that feels really solid. Cons: I'm not a big fan of the aesthetics of this knife. The blade looks like there are drops of water on it, which is quite odd. Not a deal breaker, but not…

Its presentation matches its quality

The Chef Craft 21954 Elite German Stainless Steel Blade The Chef Craft comes in a beautiful box, making it the perfect gift. The wooden display case is very attractive. The knife looks like a cross between a Japanese knife and a chef's knife. The blade is thick and quite durable. The food knife holds the blade fairly well so it appears to be made out of decent quality steel. The handle looks like nice wood but is made of durable micarta material which makes it even stronger when wet. Micarta is

Beautifully balanced blade

Presentation: This knife comes in its own knife sized wooden case. Form-fitting foam keeps it in place, the tip has a plastic cap, and the entire blade is housed in a clear sheath. While this makes it a good gift, I could have used a less fancy box. It was hard to throw this thing away. I had nothing else to use it for and let's face it, the knife goes in my knife block. Who keeps a fancy box on the counter and carefully puts the knife back in the box after each use? Appearance: Beautiful…
