I was dismayed at how small this container is. It is advertised as 32 oz and it is not true. The Chock Full o' Nuts container below holds 30.5 oz and you can see the Chef's Star container is much smaller. I think this container will barely hold 16 ounces of coffee. 32 oz is false advertising.

I've been looking for the perfect coffee tin and I found it. These little canisters can easily hold a pound of coffee. The lid is tightened so the coffee stays in a sealed environment. There's even a small widget on top of the lid to absorb excess moisture. On the outside of the lid is a dial where you can set the month and day. It's your choice how you use it. I use the coffee bag's open date to put it in the canister. You can set an expiration date if you want.
