The product is not the same but good quality

The ad is wrong, the adapter is for DA, not for a drill, you can use it, so I keep it. The Chemical Guys website sells a "Good Screw" for $3.95, I may add one to my next order, hopefully it's the right model.

It does what it's supposed to do.

I use this to mount a 5" carpet brush on a 5" rotating base on my drill and it works great as long as you don't try to flip the drill . My only complaint is the price, it's a bit high for a small piece of metal made in China, but still less than I could make myself.

Yes the product is different than the one in the picture but it still works great.

I can confirm that as of 11/05/15 you will not get what is pictured. You actually get the threaded one, I knew that from those reviews when I ordered and it really didn't bother me. Even threaded it still works great in a drill chuck. I use this with a Chemical Guys BUFLC300 TORQ R5 rotating base plate and attach sandpaper to it. Since I use it for woodworking, I mount it in my drill press or hand drill and use it for a variety of sanding tasks. The thread does not have a negative effect on the
