Do not buy. best in rivets

I bought two of these. The trigger doesn't work and at 90psi it won't pull the 3/16 stainless steel rivet. We have tried contacting Chicago Pneumatic for repairs but to no avail.

Cheap scrap tools and equipment

The first rivet gun broke after 2 weeks. Raven was replaced with a new one. The one that lasted 2.5 months. We buy a $40 rivet gun from Port Freight with a 10-12 month lifespan. Not worth the extra money when they last 20% longer than the harbor shipping model.

Pros
  • tools and equipment
Cons
  • ugly packaging

Ideal for 1/4 " Magna Lok rivets

Have been using for 4 years for 1/4" Magna Lok steel rivets and lighter applications, adjustable to 90psi. In these 4 years I have refilled hydraulic fluid once, once disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled the pneumatic valve and only today I broke 1 jaw, for the first time I even removed the nose cone. All in all it was a very reliable rivet. Pistol and very easy to use with a light "1 push to slam" trigger.
