Best shovel I've ever used - 5 cats over the years. Shovels lie with much less effort than plastic and cast aluminum shovels. Much less shaking is required to get dirt back into the sump. The foam grip on the wire is comfortable. The wires are painted black like the picture so I doubt they are stainless steel. This is not a problem.

We vacuum our wood stove, our main source of heat. But the vacuum cleaner cannot handle large hot coals, they clog the hose of the vacuum cleaner and then a mess is announced to clean the hose. The shovel is good for separating large chunks of burned wood and hot coals in general. The wood-burning stove can then be easily cleaned and vacuumed.

This is the second spoon of its kind to break in the same place. The other was from a different seller but same blade. These are not very commonly used shovels as I prefer the other type I have which is more durable. I bought 2 in January, delivered in February and the bushings are the only ones using them. Don't recommend them unless you have a very light bulking and only scoop once a day. We use pellets for this shovel.
