Plastic. Not chrome.

3 starts because if you need a lawn mower or a flail mirror, this could be the ticket. Too bad I didn't read the full description or reviews first. Where I'm from, Chrome means Chrome. Not plastic. rubbish for me. Maybe someone will buy it at my next flea market for a few bucks.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Protection

Great value for money on replacement parts

They are very similar to my original GM mirrors. They are plastic but work great for the price. The mirror moves very slightly when not tightened. I installed my mirrors and tightened all the hardware so they couldn't move. If you move the mirror to adjust it again, it will be difficult to tighten them again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Something different

Plastic, cheap but functional

Yes, you get what you pay for. But the previous owner removed the originals because he thought the 1970 Mustang looked cool without them. But you can't drive without side mirrors, not in the modern world. Yes they are plastic but they work. If I can get enough money to replace the OEM it will be in a few years.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • unreliable

Very important! for parts

I don't care that the frame is plastic. You can't beat him for money. In fact I installed 2 in my 1956 Fury show car. Very versatile and easy to customize. It has a tension screw on the back to give it the right amount of resistance. The hardest part was deciding where to install them for better visibility. Oh I forgot the hole in the center of the gasket doesn't line up with the mirror. I drilled again. No problem.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • definitely bad product

Mirror not for passenger side

such as price, fit and finish. "Plastic chrome", but looks like real chrome steel. The only problem is that the optical ratio/perspective on the mirrors is only for the driver's side, so the mirror used on the passenger's side is useless. "Objects in the mirror are actually as close as they seem!" ha ha. which means you can't see anything in the mirror unless it's within a few inches of the mirror. Correction? Buy a bubble/blind spot convex mirror to stick on the passenger side mirror.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some issues
