This works great for getting my dog's attention when he starts barking. The only problem seems to be that it turns itself off if I don't use it for a while. So when I use it it doesn't work and I have to turn it back on on the collar itself.

We recently purchased this item for our pup. In kindergarten, she had trouble jumping too much to escape the enclosure. It has responded well so far and we are impressed with the product. The battery life is excellent and the product does not harm our dog. Just redirect her when she sprays the citronella. Overall I would give the food 5 stars. I'll provide an update after we've used it for a few weeks.

My pup was barking and jumping around the counters. No longer. This collar worked wonders! I only had to use the spray a few times and now all I have to do is grab the remote control! The beep even alerted my other dogs that they weren't wearing a collar. Don't hesitate and buy this. It costs money. No damage, no spikes to pierce dog's throat, no bumps, just beeps, vibrations and citronella squirts that you control.

Need a new citronella collar because it works great and our old one from the previous dog has stopped working. Overall I love this one. The function of the rechargeable battery is amazing. Our previous one also leaked when trying to fill the dispenser. This filled up without losing a drop. The beep settings are pretty restrictive for our pup so far. I wish the choker had a clip feature and not a loose end that has to be threaded every night.

I was definitely skeptical about this product but our pup responded very well. This combination worked well to teach our 9 month old not to bark or get excited about new people. We only had to spray citronella 3 or 4 times in the first few months of use, cycling through the first warning sound, then the beep and vibration. The first alert tone is enough to stop her barking, and if we follow up immediately with positive reinforcement, she will almost never need a second or third alert button.
