The plastic cover has already cracked and peeled off!

I haven't tried the microphone yet because I bought it for a photo shoot. Although I am very disappointed in the quality of the product. I was expecting it to be plastic (because of the price) but the plastic cover had split and peeled right out of the box! I mean ok If it doesn't sound great, it should at least look great. I have other Pyle mics and am very happy with how they look and sound. This was a big disappointment. I would return it if I didn't need it this week.

Looks cool, sounds good, costs -$25!

If this thing gets a signal, it's $24! Yes, it's plastic, but the black looks great! A cable is also included. Edit: I've attached it to my mic stand, hooked it up to my Behringer/Practice pa keyboard amp, and it sounds just as good as any other mic I've used (including Shure, Nady, Samson). Black looks very cool. I'm not a brand or manufacturing snob. I make sure it looks cool and sounds good. This microphone can do both. I even like that it's plastic because there's less interference.

Not a professional microphone. but it's a cool demo mic and useful

Plastic mic. doesn't sound very good. I have a recording studio (more like a spare room I call a recording studio) and I need a feedback mic so that when I'm recording drums in the living room I can talk to the drummer or other musicians through headphones. it's perfect for that. It has a switch and honestly I think it looks really cool. I doubt it takes a lot of abuse. You could probably get an XLR to USB adapter and use it as a mic for podcasts or just as a mic on a computer. This microphone…

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

This microphone was purchased as a stage prop for dancing. It is made of high-quality chrome-plated plastic. When it arrived we were surprised at how authentic it looked and have since hooked it up to a mixer to test the sound, which was just as impressive considering its price. In case you're wondering, the mic includes a cable that ends in a 1/4" headphone jack (it wasn't clear in the product listing at the time of purchase that a cable was included). The bottom of the mic screws into a…
