They are good for newbies like me. The perfect size and the yarn won't slip off like metal needles.

This is normal but they are the wrong length. They should be 9 inches tall and they are 13. Not thrilled! They cannot be returned.

This is my first knitting experience and they seem perfect for beginners. I like that they are thin enough to hold in my hands but not too thin. I also like the feel of bamboo and that they aren't too slippery - it takes quite a bit of effort to slip off their ends.

In love with natural wooden or bamboo needles. I quit knitting many years ago because metal knitting needles seemed unaesthetic to me, and plastic needles, don't even ask. Takumi makes the best bamboo needles I've found: sharp, consistent, smooth, and pleasant to the touch. Work with. You get a lot less tired of big projects.
